As Life with a View Studio continues to grow, one thing has become very clear:
Our clients don’t just want beautiful images — they want to feel cared for.

For 2026, we’re excited to officially introduce a refined, experience-based studio model designed to support families during some of life’s most meaningful (and often exhausting) seasons. This new approach allows us to serve our clients more intentionally while creating a calm, elevated experience from start to finish.

A Shift Toward a Full-Service Experience

Photography has always been about more than images for us. It’s about how you feel while those images are being created.

Beginning in 2026, we’ve designed a studio experience that removes stress, decision fatigue, and pressure — especially for expecting and new parents.

From the moment you walk through our doors, every detail is thoughtfully prepared so you can relax, be present, and enjoy this season.

Hair & Makeup — Because Moms Deserve Care Too

One of the most exciting additions to our studio experience is professional hair and makeup, included with select sessions.

For maternity and newborn clients, this means:

  • No extra appointments to schedule

  • No pressure to “look perfect” on your own

  • Time to relax and be cared for before stepping in front of the camera

This isn’t about glam — it’s about confidence, comfort, and feeling like yourself during a season when that can be hard to find.

A Catered Lunch, Thoughtfully Included

The postpartum period is tender and demanding, which is why we now include a catered lunch during your studio session for newborn clients.

This small but meaningful detail allows parents to:

  • Take a break

  • Refuel without rushing

  • Stay present and comfortable throughout their time in the studio

Many parents tell us this was one of the first moments they felt truly taken care of after bringing their baby home — and that’s exactly the experience we want to provide.

One Intentional Session, Designed to Include Family

To simplify the experience and eliminate confusion, we now offer one thoughtfully designed session type for newborn photography that includes:

  • Newborn portraits

  • Parent and sibling images

  • A calm, unrushed studio experience

This allows us to focus on connection, storytelling, and consistency — without clients needing to choose between multiple session options.

A Calm, Guided Ordering Experience

Another important part of our 2026 update is the introduction of guided ordering appointments.

After your session, you’ll be invited back for a relaxed image reveal where we:

  • Walk you through your images

  • Help you choose favorites

  • Design artwork intentionally for your home

Rather than sending galleries and leaving families overwhelmed, this process ensures your images are preserved as heirloom-quality artwork meant to be enjoyed every day — not forgotten on a hard drive.
