Outdoor Wedding by the Hiawassee River

Tara and Matthew have an uninhibited spark between them that is hard to describe, but obvious to everyone around them. They were introduced by mutual friends and the rest is history. They are both nature lovers, so it makes perfect sense that Matthew proposed to Tara on Bald Mountain in Hiawassee while overlooking a breathtaking view.

Tara and Matthew's wedding was a one of a kind immersion into nature at the Retreat at Hiawassee River. From the calming river to the enchanted trees surrounding the venue, this wedding was a green wonderland. The wedding's colors of cranberry, sunflowers, and burlap blended perfectly with the natural setting of the venue. Tara looked like she was born to wear her gorgeous wedding dress, and Matthew couldn't take his eyes off her throughout the entire ceremony. The reception was a true celebration with dancing, laughing, and all around fun! Congratuations to the Hellmers!
